Chocolate Bliss Balls

This easy and delicious recipe is one of my favourites - and one of the few I've created from scratch. Testing out chocolate bliss ball recipes wasn't a bad way to pass the time :). 

This version doesn't need a protein powder, although you could substitute the hemp seeds and maple syrup for chocolate protein powder if you wish.

1 cup      raw cashews

1/2 cup   raw almonds

2 tbsp    cocoa

1 tbsp     raw cacao nibs

1  tbsp    maple syrup

4  tbsp   hemp seeds

10          dates

5 tbsp    almond or hemp milk

Blend everything together in a food processor. You may need to add more milk, depending on the consistency. Drizzle the milk into the food processor until the mixture starts to clump. Roll into balls and refrigerate before serving. Optional: roll balls in dried coconut, cocoa powder, or ground almonds
