RECIPE - Chocolate Bliss Balls

This easy and delicious recipe is one of my favourites - and one of the first I've created from scratch.

Testing out chocolate bliss ball recipes is a pretty nice way to pass the time :).

This version doesn't need a protein powder, although you could substitute the hemp seeds and maple syrup for chocolate protein powder if you wish.

Enjoy!

Ingredients -

  • 1 cup  raw cashews

  • 1/2 cup raw almonds

  • 2 tbsp cocoa

  • 1 tbsp raw cacao nibs (optional)

  • 1  tbsp maple syrup

  • 4  tbsp  hemp seeds

  • 10 dates

  • 5 tbsp almond or hemp milk

Directions

Blend everything together in a food processor…that’s it :). You may need to add more milk, depending on the consistency. Drizzle the milk into the food processor until the mixture starts to clump. Roll into balls and refrigerate before serving. They also freeze nicely so you can have them on hand when you need them :)

Optional: roll balls in dried coconut, cocoa powder, or ground almonds

Great tip alert! I received this from a past fabulous client -

After I had kids I stopped making any type of ball, because it was too much work/time to roll them...

now I make bliss squares, triangules or diamonds!!

I make the recipe and then press the ‘dough’ into a parchment lined cake tin or Tupperware, score with a knife into squares etc., and then chill (fridge or freezer) Once it’s chilled i break along the score lines into servings and store in fridge or freezer.

Much more doable for me and my family 😀

How do you like to make your bliss balls? Do you like to make them into bliss diamonds? Let me know in the comments below :D
