The food noise doesn't stop

just because you quit dieting.

You stopped following the plan, but the mental loop around food is still running. The calculating, the second-guessing, the never quite trusting yourself to just... eat.

The Undieting Collective is where you learn to quiet that noise. No new rules. No replacement program. Just the skills to finally trust yourself with food.

"If not food, I don't even know what I'd think about."

I asked my community what life would look like if food felt peaceful. I expected answers about eating. But what I got were answers about living:

"Food noise would disappear."
"I could just breathe."
"I don't even know what I'd think about."
"I'd have space to think about other things."

This is what years of living with "food rules" steals from you.

You know this cycle

Here's the cycle I've watched play out with hundreds of incredibly thoughtful, capable people over almost 20 years of practice:

The Control-Collapse Cycle

1

Try to be "good"

Control what you eat, follow the rules

2

Life gets hard

Stress, exhaustion, life happens

3

Give up

Feel like you've "failed" again

4

Monday reset

Start over with new rules

You've done this cycle dozens of times. Probably for years. And every single time, you blamed yourself. Not the method. Yourself.

So after enough rounds of this, isn't it time to ask yourself: if controlling food actually solved the problem, wouldn't it have worked by now?

What looks like a willpower problem is actually a wiring problem. Your brain learned to relate to food through rules and restriction. Undieting is the practice of teaching it a different way. It's a skill, like learning a language. You start using it from day one and keep getting better for years.

I know what you're really wondering.

"But if I stop controlling food, won't I just... eat everything? Gain weight? Lose all control?"

This is the question underneath every other question. And it's the reason most women never leave the Control → Collapse cycle. The fear of what might happen to your body is what sends you back to the rules (even though they've never worked).

Here's what actually happens:

When you first start undieting, your body may need to hold some weight while it recalibrates. It needs to learn that food is safe and restriction isn't coming back. Fighting that process while trying to lose weight is like trying to calm a nervous system while also threatening it. The two goals cancel each other out. And that's exactly why the cycle keeps repeating.

So we don't chase weight loss as the primary goal here.

You can't take good care of a thing you hate.

— Lindy West

That's what we're building here. The foundation that makes everything else actually possible, including weight loss if you choose it.

Bodies do change once the war ends and stress hormones settle. But the scale is not our measure of success.

This is a skill set, not a program.

Think of it like learning a language. You can start using it from day one and keep getting better for years.

The Undieting Methodology moves through five areas. Each builds on the last, but you can go in whatever order works best for you.

Pillar 1 — Stabilize your body

Before anything else, your body needs to feel safe and nourished. We start here because none of the other steps work until this one does.

Pillar 2 — Learn your body's language

That 3pm craving? Instead of "I have no willpower," you get curious: what was my body actually asking for? That question is the skill.

Pillar 3 — Quiet the critic

That voice that says "I shouldn't be hungry"? That's diet culture running in the background. You'll learn to recognize it, name it, and turn it down.

Pillar 4 — Rebuild body trust

Trust isn't a leap. It's a series of small experiments showing you that your body knows more than you've been told.

Pillar 5 — The Rest of Your Life (Food Isn't Running It Anymore)

This is where food stops being a big deal. The noise is quiet. Decisions are easier. And you get back all that mental space to think about something else.

This isn't a quick transformation, but it's a real one. Built through practice. And you start exactly where you are.

What's actually inside.

The Undieting Collective lives on Circle. Here's what you'll find when you arrive:

Welcome

Your landing spot. No curriculum, no checklist. Just: you're here. That's enough for now.

The Community

The main gathering space. Wins, struggles, real daily life around food. No fixing, no unsolicited advice. Just humans, witnessing each other.

The Undieting Method

Where the methodology comes to life. Content drops here, you experiment, and we share what we're noticing. Learning becomes practice.

Weekly Q&A. Monthly deep dive. Your questions, answered by me. This is as close to 1:1 as a $27 membership gets.

The Quiet Corner

This is the room I'm most proud of.

A specific space for hard moments. When you're cracking open and you don't need advice, you need to be witnessed. The explicit norm: no fixing unless asked. Just presence. Just "I see you."

One thing that came up over and over when I talked to my community: how alone women feel with this. The exhaustion of pretending it's fine. The quiet grief of decades of trying. The Quiet Corner exists so that none of that has to be carried alone.

No leaderboards. No streaks. No before/after anything. No weight talk unless a member brings it to their own story. These absences are as intentional as everything that's present.

Hi, I'm Lisa.

I'm a holistic nutritionist, and I've been working with people around food for almost 20 years. I wrote a book called Undieting: Freedom From the World of Bewildering Diets in 2020. And I have strong opinions about nutrition, but zero interest in telling you what to eat.

I care about teaching you how to hear what your body is actually saying.

I didn't learn this from a textbook. I learned it because my body forced me to. In my early twenties, I was so sick I could barely function with uncontrolled asthma, nerve damage, crushing fatigue. I was a classical flute performance student at one of the most competitive programs in Canada, and my body was falling apart.

Not one doctor asked what I was eating.

What I eventually figured out (after years of trial and error) was that my body had been screaming at me through symptoms I didn't know how to read. Rounds of antibiotics had created gut issues I didn't know existed. A diet of processed everything meant my body didn't have what it needed to function, let alone perform.

The day my brain fog finally lifted (after I learned to actually nourish myself), I got my life back.

Over the last almost two decades, I've watched hundreds of people have that same moment. The "oh, that's what my body was trying to tell me" clarity. It's the relief of finally understanding the signals they'd been ignoring or misreading for years.

It turns out, when you learn how to listen, your body knows exactly what it needs.

That's what I want for you, the skill of understanding what your body needs and trusting yourself.

I built the Collective because this is learnable. You don't have to be born knowing how to do this. You just need a space that helps you hear it.

If you've read this far.

You're probably tired. Tired of trying, tired of the cycle, and maybe a little tired of hoping because hoping and then being disappointed is its own kind of exhaustion.

Why doors are closing April 20

This is a beta launch. I'm opening the Collective to a small founding group who will help shape what this space becomes. We'll move through the methodology together, refine the content based on your real questions, and build the community culture from scratch.

Doors close April 20 and won't reopen for a few months. If you want in for the founding cohort (and lifetime pricing at $27/month) this is your window.

A few honest answers

Is this a diet program?

No, it's the opposite. The Undieting Collective is about understanding how your body works with food, not controlling it with rules.

Will I gain weight?

This is the question almost everyone has, and it deserves a real answer. Possibly, at first, while your body adjusts. But the goal here isn't weight loss or weight gain. The goal is getting you out of the war. Bodies tend to settle when the fighting stops.

Can I lose weight while undieting?

Eventually, yes, but it can't be the primary focus at first. Your body needs to feel safe before it will let go of protective weight. When you stop the restriction-rebound cycle and build strength instead, your body often finds its own equilibrium. But we measure success by how you feel, not what you weigh.

I've tried everything. What makes this different?

Most programs give you rules. A meal plan tells you what to eat on Tuesday. A skill tells you what to do when Tuesday doesn't go as planned. Rules require constant maintenance, and when life gets busy, they break. Skills become part of you. That's the difference.

How is this different from intuitive eating?

Intuitive eating is the philosophy and Undieting is the practice. We give you the specific tools to decode cravings, stabilize your body, quiet your inner critic, and rebuild trust, so intuitive eating actually becomes possible instead of just aspirational.

What if I have digestive issues or health conditions?

Many members deal with IBS, histamine issues, perimenopause, insulin resistance, and other conditions. The Undieting Method isn't about ignoring your body's real needs, you'll learn to understand them. You'll still honor your body's boundaries while building a peaceful relationship with food.

I don't have much time. Is this going to be another thing I sign up for and feel guilty about?

I built this for the version of your life that actually exists, not the aspirational one. The content is easy to understand and implement. This isn't a course with hour-long videos. Just show up when you can. That's all.

What if it's not right for me?

Cancel anytime. No hoops, no hard feelings, no guilt.

Why is the founding member price so low?

Because I want everyone who needs this most to be able to access it. And because founding members are building this space with me, your questions shape the content, your struggles inform what I teach next. This is my thank you for being first through the door.

This is a closed beta cohort, we're building this together from the ground up. Founding members get lifetime pricing at $27/month. When doors reopen, pricing will be higher.
