Work With Us
Nutrition with Lisa Kilgour & Angela Wright
Exciting news - there are two of us now!
For almost twenty years it was just me, and I could only fit so many people in. Enter Angela Wright, who joined my practice this year and she’s so wonderful and brilliant.
So, who should you book with?
Book with Angela:
Your concern is physical: energy, hormones, stress, or sleep
You want to connect the dots on what your body's telling you
You want everyday food and lifestyle habits that actually stick
Book with Lisa:
You've got a stubborn, complex issue like histamine intolerance or chronic gut problems
Years of dieting have left you unsure what to eat
You want to explore The Undieting Method
You want to understand your body’s language and make peace with food
You can't pick wrong, and we'll happily switch you if the other turns out to be a better fit.
Still torn? Start with Angela, she's great to start with (and a little gentler on the budget :).
Lisa Kilgour, RHN
I'm a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, and for almost twenty years I've become a speaker, an educator, and an author, working mostly with people healing from complex, tangled health issues.
In 2015 I spoke at TEDx Kelowna on the gut-brain connection, and in 2010 I was voted BC's Favourite Nutritionist, which still makes me smile.
My book, Undieting: Freedom from the Bewildering World of Fad Diets, came out in 2020, and it's really the heart of how I work.
I can help you step out of diet culture, quiet the inner critic, and rebuild trust with your body, without the shame.
I especially love the complicated cases that haven't added up for years, things like histamine intolerance, stubborn gut and digestive issues, and perimenopause and menopause symptoms.
I'd love to help you feel at home in your body again.
Angela Wright, BSc, CNP
I've been a Certified Nutritional Practitioner since 2005, with a science degree from the University of Waterloo behind me.
Over the years I've run my own practice, led a team of nutritionists at InspireHealth Supportive Cancer Care, taught nutrition students, and worked with adults at all ages and every stage of sorting out their health.
At heart, I'm a teacher. I don't do the hard work, you do, I just help you connect the dots of your own health picture and clear out the noise of all the things you're supposedly meant to be doing.
My science background means I can explain what's actually going on in your body in plain language that makes sense, and then we build habits that fit your real life. I especially love helping with the everyday things that quietly run the show, stress and tired adrenals, hormones of all kinds, low energy & rough sleep, and I'd love to help your body start making sense again.
