Are you feeling foggy? Colder than usual? Tired? Gaining weight? Our thyroid is an important little organ, located at the base of our neck, and has the gigantic job of regulating our body.
It’s hard to “see” our bones, to see how they’re doing, or to understand what they need day-to-day. So instead, think of your bones as a bank account of minerals.
I think we each define health differently, and to be honest, I don’t really care what the technical definition is. What matters most to me is, what is your definition of health.
We’re officially in the dog days of summer. It’s hot, humid (depending on where you are), and I find it hard to do anything but sit on my patio with a cold beverage.
Cravings. Oh, cravings. Wouldn’t life be easier without those pesky cravings? We all could be eating “perfectly” if we didn’t dream about chocolate or potato chips all of the time. (And for the record, a “perfect diet” simply doesn’t exist, so we can stop striving for it :)
